Vancouver is considered by many the most beautiful city in the world. Our city is blessed with towering mountains to the north (for skiing, hiking, snow-shoeing, etc.), the Pacific Ocean to the west (for swimming, water-skiing, windsurfing, boating, fishing, sun-tanning, etc.), and lots of protected farmland to the south and east for our organic fruits and veggies. Vancouver is a city where you can ski in the morning at one of our three local ski resorts and go windsurfing in the afternoon off of one of our many popular beaches. It is also the business centre for Western Canada and a Pacific Rim trading centre.
